Through the proven business model and support provided by the franchisor, franchisees are able to be in business for themselves but with the support and assistance of the franchisor, the advantage of the franchise system’s past success, and access to the knowledge and experience of a network of franchisee peers. A franchise also provides you with the advantage of a tried-and-true system and an operations manual that fully explains how you are to replicate the franchise’s system at your location. While it is impossible to eliminate all risk, if you work and follow that system, you can reduce the risk of business failure and increase your likelihood of success. The franchise system will save you time and money by keeping you up-to-date on your market. Through the franchisor, you can stay on top of things such as business trends, research and development, new marketing initiatives, and changes in consumer tastes or behaviours. This allows you (and the other franchisees in the system) to focus on the day-to-day operation of your location knowing that you have this shared knowledge available when you need it.

We assist you with hiring a Director. The Director then manages and hires the remaining employees. Typically an academy would need anywhere from 18-35 employees.

You can have up to four investors in one franchise. One single shareholder must own 51% of the company.

Willowbrae will assist with finding a suitable site and has a team of professionals to ensure a proposed site meets our criteria.

As part of the franchise agreement each franchisee is provided with a protected territory.

There are numerous things to research before opening a franchise including but not limited to demand, estimated expenses, site selection and government subsidies. Willowbrae’s Start-up Methodology provides a task driven approach to guide franchises from the concept right up to opening day. Here is a brief overview of the start-up process.

Initial franchise fee: $50,000 plus tax. Royalty: 5%(franchise fee) + 1%(advertising) of gross monthly income. Check out our investor information here.

A franchisee is responsible to do their own financial due diligence because the costs will vary depending on the state/province, time, location etc. A range of start-up and operational expenses are provided as part of the franchise agreement and disclosure documents. Check out our investor information here.
